How to add Facebook like plugin to your Blog?

Once you have created a Facebook page for your site or blog, the next step is to add a Facebook like plugin to your blog.

After setting facebook like button on your blog, whenever a Facebook user visits your site and clicks on it. A link to your page gets automatically added to their activity stream.

All the friends of that facebook user can see this link and a click on it will directly take them to your page. This way you are actually sending your page link to a great number of audiences and their by increasing traffic to your site.

There are different ways to add Facebook like plugin to a blog. But from my experience, I think the method that I share with you is the easiest one.

Once you have created a Facebook page for your site

Step 1: Click ‘Get started’

In the next window Click option 2 ‘Promote this page on your website’

Click 'Add like box'

In the next window, enter your Facebook page URL (your website/blog Facebook page)

Your URL may look like this

You may get the preview while changing parameters of ‘like’ plug-in

After setting all the parameters

Click 'Get code'

From the option HTMLS, XFBML and IFRAME. Select IFRAME

You have to copy and paste the IFRAME code to the HTML/JavaScript gadget of your blog

In the BlogSpot, log in to your blogger account

Click 'Design'

Select 'Add a gadget'

Select 'HTML/Javascript' from the gadget list

Copy and paste the IFRAME code into HTML/javascript box and Click save

and that is it. Now you have your Facebook like button on your blog.
